Meet Angharad, Your Bird Artist

I’m Angharad, a painter, birdwatcher, and printmaker obsessed with feathers, light, and personality. Angharad’s Aviary grew from sketchbook studies into a monthly club, sharing gallery-quality bird prints, vinyl stickers, and fact sheets with fellow bird nerds.

I started posting on my TikTok where I was filling a sketchbook with birds. This series has helped me grow my account to 14.8k followers. I love interacting with my followers and sharing my passion for painting.

A refined, photographic image of a minimalist white gallery wall featuring a single large framed print of a snowy owl, the current spotlight bird. The owl is rendered in exquisite detail, its golden eyes and intricate feather patterns sharp against a soft, dusk-blue sky. The print hangs above a sleek, light wood bench where a tiny ceramic owl figurine and a small acrylic stand displaying a shiny owl vinyl sticker subtly echo the artwork. Clean, indirect studio lighting washes evenly across the wall, creating gentle, soft-edged shadows and a serene atmosphere. Shot from a slightly elevated, straight-on angle with generous negative space, evoking a modern gallery that markets both subscription prints and fixed-price originals.

Every month feels like opening a tiny gallery at home—the prints are lush, the stickers adorable, and the bird facts surprisingly nerdy.

A dramatic photographic scene inside a small home studio, focused on a large easel holding a nearly finished painting of a vivid hummingbird frozen mid-hover among blurred blossoms. The canvas surface shows thick, textured brushstrokes, while nearby a flat file drawer is slightly open, revealing neatly stacked high-res bird art prints. A few glossy vinyl stickers shaped like tiny hummingbirds are scattered playfully on a nearby drafting table. Warm, angled late-afternoon light from a side window highlights the paint texture and reflects subtly off the stickers, casting long, artistic shadows. The composition uses an off-center framing with shallow depth of field, emphasizing the painting yet hinting at a space where original works and prints are sold alongside a monthly bird art club.

I joined on a whim and stayed for the art; the colours, textures, and species choices are thoughtful, playful, and consistently beautiful.
